CAPITAL CITY LINK GROUP will be hosting a Construction Information Session for the residents of Strathcona County, Edmonton, and surrounding areas. The event till take place on January 28, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (drop-in format) in the Agora Room at the Sherwood Park Community Center (401 Festival Lane, Sherwood Park.)

ALBERTA TRANSPORTATION will be hosting a News Conference Event on August 7, 2013 at 9:00 AM. The event will take place at the south abutment of the North Saskatchewan River Bridge Site. The Minister of Transportation, Minister Ric McIver, will speak to the media about the North Saskatchewan River Bridge and the progress of the Northeast Anthony Henday Project thus far. A sod turning will take place to celebrate the official kick off of the construction of the new Northeast Anthony Henday Drive project on Monday July 16, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.

May 1, 2015 to September 30, 2015. The 17 Street bridge over Sherwood Park Freeway will be closed. This closure is required to demolish the existing 17 Street bridge and reconstruct the interchange at 17 Street in its entirety. A temporary traffic intersection is constructed where the old 76 Avenue flyover was to assist with the flow of traffic in the area. Detour signage will be in place to direct commuters. November 1, 2013- Northeast Anthony Henday Drive Project Wins Silver Award for Project Finance.
Northeast Anthony Henday Drive project has won the Silver award for Project Financing at the 16th annual Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP) Awards for Innovation and Excellence in Public-Private Partnerships.
